I need helping doing hair?

I am trying to do my little cousin hair because she totally needs it but I want to put individual braids in and I don't know how to start it do any body know a way to start

Well try washing her hair first then put a little bit of gel in her hair, make sure it goes everywhere. Then just braid how ever you like tie the ends with little rubber bands then lightly blow dry the braids on cool. Well I hoped this helped you! By the way the gel is optional, you could use serum too! And where the braids are dry use plenty of hairspray.
