I think, as a natural brunette, caramel or burgandy would be beautiful.

May I suggest going to the salon for a strip job, IF you have color in your hair now, otherwise the disappointment will be unbearable, otherwise...a basic Frost N Tip kit should bring you up to par on some nice high-lights....don't forget, the longer you leave this in, the WHITER your hair will turn, so at black, I would suggest no more than 10-12 minutes on the frost...it will blend nicely!

If you want it to be natural looking, go for a color one or two shades lighter than your own color. If you just want to go crazy, then go with a blonde, or red.
